Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said that the closure of the airspace caused Indian private airline bankruptcy.
Pakistan lost 8 billion and India 28 billion due to closure of airspace. Talking to media today, he said that the closure of Pakistan’s airspace caused a private Indian airline bankruptcy.
He said that India requested to give the permission to the plane of Indian president to pass through the Pakistani space but we rejected this appeal and now he will not go through the Pakistani air space.
On Saturday, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the President of India had asked Pakistan for permission to use airspace, in keeping with India’s behavior, we have decided not to allow them to use their airspace.
