Hamza Ali Abbasi and TV One will be allow to start their programs after casting a live apology says PEMRA

Pakistan Electronic Media Regularity Authority PEMRA has banned the Ramdhan program of Hamza Ali Abbasi for speaking the hate and discrimination against Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Pakistan. There was a large protest and threats from religious parties on Hamza Ali Abbasi and PEMRA to ban the program. Hamza Ali Abbasi continuously spoke in his program for Ahmadis and declared to held a complete program on this issue by the end of the month.

Hamza Ali Abbasi is one of the names who keep talking in the different platforms for the rights and hate speech against the Ahmadis. Despite of facing danger from the religious extremists he is famous for his bold posts and comments for the human Rights. “An immediate ban has been imposed on TV One’s programme Isq-e-Ramazan (hosted by Shabbir Abu Talib) and Aaj News programmeRamazan Hamara Iman (hosted by Hamza Ali Abbasi),” a statement  said on Friday.

“Pemra has forwarded this case to its council of complaints in Karachi, which will announce its decision on June 20 after listening to all the parties concerned, who have already been issued notices,” the statement said.

The artist and social activist raised the questions to the state and politicians for declaring Ahmadis Non-Muslim.

Hamza also spoke to the government’s participation in deciding who is Muslim, and who isn’t.
