Altaf Hussian has condemned the killing of Ahmadi doctor in Attock

The Chief of MQM Altaf Hussian has condemned the killing of an Ahmadi Muslim doctor in Attock on the basis of religious hate. Remember that an Ahmadi doctor was killed in Attock in front of his house on 4th june.

65-year-old Dr Hameed Ahmad was going to is home in Islam Colony when by two unknown murderers opened fire, killing him on the spot.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain released a statement the very next day and said

“In Pakistan extremists are specifically targeting those of different beliefs and faiths. The brutal killing of an Ahmadi man in the city of Attock is another example of rising intolerance, No matter how much we condemn this brutal act, it is not enough.“

Hussain went on to say:

“MQM believes in religious tolerance and interfaith harmony and wants to establish such a society where people of different beliefs and faiths have equal rights.”

Hussain also demanded that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif take immediate action by arresting and sentencing the killers of Ahmadi man Hameed Ahmad. He also offered his condolences and sympathies to the slain doctor’s family.
