In life we’re told never to give up – but when it comes to smoking, being a ‘Quitter’ is a good thing. The tobacco epidemic is now one of leading and biggest health threat world have ever faced. More than 6 million people died every year due to smoking. Interestingly over 80% of the smokers are from low or middle-income countries. Only in Pakistan 100,000 people die annually because of smoking.

In a recent research, researchers have come to know that most of people addicted to smoking in their early adulthood. High numbers of youth are smoking, it has become a fashion for students to smoke.

FC and security forces have released the kidnapped son of formar governer of Punjab Salman Taseer

Son of Salman Taseer, Shehbaz Taseer released by FC from Quetta

FC and security forces have released the kidnapped son of former governor of Punjab Salman Taseer son from Kachlak Quetta yesterday. Shahbaz Taseer was kidnapped from Lahore five years ago after the murder of his father in 2011 by Mumtaz Qadri who was the guard of his father.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan Army kidnapped Shahbaz Taseer was released from a hotel situated in Kachlak near Quetta.

However, the owner of the restaurant told to the media that Shahbaz Taseer entered in the hotel alone and took a meal. After paying the bill he requested to use the mobile phone but he did not allow him to do so. Shahbaz Taseer took the phone from another person and called someone and in a few minutes, FC and security forces reached in the hotel and took away Shahbaz Taseer with them.

“Mr Taseer has been safely recovered. He is appearing in good health and is in police custody,” Balochistan government spokesman Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar told.

All the top leadership of the main Political parties have congratulated Taseer family on the happy occasion of the release of Shahbaz Taseer including Bilawal Bhutto from PPP and many other leaders from, MQM, PTI and PMLn.
