Jamat Ahmadiyya UK collected 200 thousand pounds for charity in a walk

Jamat Ahmadiyya UK gathers more the two hundred thousand pounds for charity after organizing a charity walk for the local community. More the 2500 people took part in the walk and funds will be collected till October.

More than 2,500 people joined worshippers on the walk, with Barking Ahmadiyya Muslim Samira Ahmad, 50, stressing the importance of unity.

“We are a peace-loving people,” she said. “Our prophet was peaceful and forgave his enemies. He would hate what terrorist groups like Islamic State do.”

The five-mile walk began and finished at 1,000 Dockside in Beckton last month, with the association pledging up to £300,000 in match-funding. A huge number of Ahmadi community living in UK who are pakistan natves and are not accepted as Muslims.
