Pakistan has condemned the judicial killing of Ameer Jamat E Islami Bangladesh

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Government  has shown the great concerns and has condemned the hanging of Ameer Jamat Islami Bangladesh by the Government of Bangladesh. Remember that Bangladesh government has hanged the Ameer Jamat E Islami for treason charges. Bangladesh Government has been hanging many other leaders of Jamat E Islami and there is a strong reaction in Pakistan over the extra-judicial killing. Pakistan Wednesday said it was deeply saddened over the hanging of Ameer Jamat e Islami Bangladesh Moti ur Rehman Nizami for the alleged crimes committed before December 1971 and termed it against the spirit of democracy.
The Foreign Office said the execution was also unfortunate for the people of Bangladesh who had elected Nizami as their representative in the Parliament.
Pakistan offers condolences to the bereaved family members and the followers of Nizami, Foreign Office said.

 

Investigation through Judicial Commission may be delayed: Imran Khan

BANNU: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan said that decision of the probe against the persons mentioned in Panama Papers may be delayed due to a lengthy process of the Judicial Commission.

He was addressing a mammoth public gathering here at the Jinnah Sports Complex on Wednesday.

The rally, organized by the PTI, was a part of Imran’s campaign against prime minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif in connection with Panama Leaks.

Earlier, chief minister Pervez Khattak also addressed to the PTI workers  .

Imran said in his speech that the prime minister was not willing to collect taxes from the rich class.

“We need to step up against the king of corruption. Mian Sahab, speak the truth. Tell us how many assets you own and where are they,” the PTI chief said, adding that Nawaz Sharif will have to answer people on Panama Papers’ revelations.

“It is the responsibility of chairman NAB (National Accountability Bureau) to launch an investigation against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif,” Imran said.

“NAB can investigate the case within weeks as investigation through commission may be delayed.”

Masroor FC has finally got a good start in the Fazal E Umar Soccer Leaguer as they have beaten Mehmood FC with the score line of 2-1. Masroor FC has been struggling in the league and was standing in the bottom of the points table. But Three points from the match against Mehmood FC has made their place better as they have jumped to the 5th place in the table from 8th position.

Sjeel and Sharjeel scored the two goals from Masroor FC whereas Sulman scored the only goal from Mehmood FC. Mehmood FC has now moved to the 7th place in the points table.
